I remember when feelings were just a normal part of everyday life.
I dreaded waking up early for school. I always said that I’ll sleep once I’m back in the afternoon.
But I never slept. That awful experience I always experienced when I was forced to give up something I’m enjoying for something I hate was simply a feeling that faded away in a few hours.
I hardly ever gave in to my feelings. I did things regardless.
I was scared of tomorrow’s history exam? I managed to find a way around it.
There was a moment in my life that I started giving in to my feelings, hence allowing them to dictate my life.
Feelings are like men; they use you then disappear. (Ba Dum Tss)
